This is a Graphic Novel published in 2017 made by Victoria Jamieson. Eleven-year-old Imogene (Impy) has grown up with two parents working at the Renaissance Faire, and she's eager to begin her own training as a squire, but first she needs to prove she’s worthy. Impy has a perfect task, joining public middle school! After years of being homeschooled, Impy longed to be in actual school and make new friends. So, she decides to join middle school. Now, the real challenge begins. This book has an unusual setting which makes it very interesting to read. The perspective of Impy is also particularly funny. This is also an eye opening experience for readers to think about. But, this book also has its downsides. It has a lot of awkwardness, so it might be a little cringey. Some of the illustrations in the book can also be a bit disturbing, but overall this book would be an excellent book to read.
